Collets for Nail Buttons
Collets for Nail Buttons have several advantages: Costs less than a pre assembled nail, used with special tacks or nails. You supply the nail or tack of your choice. Often used with twist pins.
Covering Operation: Collet (button back) is placed in the die. Nail (or tack, twist pin etc.) is inserted though hole in the Collet. Cardboard Wad is placed on top of the nail. Covering is then completed in the usual manner.
