The four individual snap fastener parts that make up a complete press stud are called caps, sockets, eyelets & studs. Nickel plated brass is tarnish free, nickel plated steel is vulnerable when exposed to moisture. Listed here are extra long stem versions of the Cap & Socket (not sold as a set).
The snaps measure approx 5/8″ (15mm) across the cap with a 10mm shank.
