C.S. Osborne 502X Curved Leather Needles – Extra Light Gauge
502x Curved Leather Needles – The three square edges mean that the needle will not split but cut the leather as you push it through.
The size of the needle is measured around the length of the needle and not across the point.
For thick and tough leather you may need to use an awl to make a pilot hole. Sewing Palms will also come in handy for heavy work.
The lower the gauge the thicker the needle.
